Yes. A court can change (vary) or cancel (recall) an existing decree of aliment if something important in your circumstances has changed since the original court decision.

• One party’s income increases or decreases.
• Someone loses a job or retires.
• A child maintenance assessment is issued by the Child Maintenance Service (CMS) — this is automatically considered a material change.

• Order refunds if too much was paid before the change
