🔹 Initial Consultation

We offer a one hour consultation (in person, by phone or online (MS Teams etc) for £125.00 flat fee. You will understand your legal position and we will explore your options before committing to anything.

This allows us to:

• Assess your situation.
• Provide an outline of possible outcomes.
• Recommend a legal strategy.
• Give you an estimate of fees based on your needs.

Agreements / Notary Services

Minute of Agreement – £695.00. For detailed agreements with multiple heritable properties – these will be quoted at the Initial Consultation. Agreements requiring pension shares cost a further £350.00 per pension share. Pension shares require a further schedule to a Minute of Agreement, hence the extra cost.

Pre-Nuptial Agreement – £695.00. Where there are multiple large assets or complex matters – these agreements will be quoted at the Initial Consultation.

Pre-Sale Agreement – £595.00. Sell you house while working out the division of the remaining assets.

Notary Services – £60.00 per document up to three pages, there after £30.00 per document, up to five documents. Large documents or complicated matters quoted on assessment.

Fixed-Fee Divorce Packages

We provide competitive, fixed-price packages for uncontested divorces, including all preparation, court documents, affidavits, and correspondence, including.

Simplified Divorce – £295.00 + court outlays

For clients who:

• Have no children under 16.
• Have agreed financial matters.
• Meet one of the legal grounds for divorce.

Timeframe: 2–3 months (depending on court workload).

Undefended Ordinary Cause Divorce – £995.00 + court outlays

For clients who:

• Have children under the age of 16.
• Have agreed division of assets and contact/residence matters.

Includes:

• Preparation of Initial Writ;
• Lodging with court for warranting;
• Service;
• Managing the 21-day notice period;
• Arranging and notarising Affidavits; and
• Application to court for Decree of Divorce
  (Essentially everything you need).

Timeframe: Usually around 3 months

Hourly Rate Services (Contested Cases & Complex Matters)

Where your case is more complex, or likely to be defended, we offer very competitive hourly rate of £220.00. We’ll always give you a clear estimate in advance and keep you updated on costs. Our hourly rate is one of the best Family Law hourly rates in Aberdeen.

Our hourly rate work covers:

• Contested divorce (Ordinary Cause).
• Financial disputes during separation/divorce.
• All child contact and residence disputes etc.
• All cohabitation claims.
